Maybe you didnt understand.....so here it is again.....I sent them my rear shock to be revalve, they resprung it.....I get it back with a new spring, brand spanking new!.....After TWO rides, it is flaking off.....it will all be gone soon....Even a works coat last longer than 2 rides! And as far as it not being their responbility, what a load of crap.....ITS THEIR SHOCK! Even if they do buy the springs from a vendor, it is still part of their product! You guys keep this in mind when you orders these "UNPARALLED QUALITY" shocks......ask them yourself, see what they tell you.....ask them what would they do if they sent you the shock and it flaked off while you are installing it.....see for yourself.

I had the same thing happen to my Works Triple Rate front shocks. I called Works and explained to them that the paint was flaking off. I was told by them to send the springs in and they would replace them. They also advised that they had been having trouble with whoever had been powder coating the springs so this was not unusual. My suggestion to you, is Axis should replace the springs as Works is. If not tell them you are sending them back for a refund and you will purchase the springs from a comapny that stands behind their product. It doesn't matter if Axis makes the springs or not they put the springs on your shocks and sold them to you as new. It's their obligation to replace them if they are defective.

Ok, Axis has been around for a long time and has been known as a top of the line product manufacturer. But, as with any company that sells a product, bad product makes it thru - I do believe they should do something about the spring for you. But, in a blanket statement, to call the shocks this company manufactures "UNPARALLED QUALITY", is outright slanderous. You try telling the pros that run these shocks that the shocks suck, see what kind of reaction you get out of them. If you have a problem with the company like that, take it up with them, but dont post this in here. I can see coming in here and asking if anyone else has had these types of problems, and then, depending on the responses, making a judgement saying that the quality is going down hill, but not this.

What I don't like about Custom Axis is that they use one valve for compression and rebound so if you adj. the compression the rebound changes as well and vice versa if you change the rebound. Elka uses two different valving systems one for compression and one for rebound. Plus they a cheaper too!

The pros? Who gives a #&$&*! about what the "pros" think.....dude, give me a break.....hey, if you want to buy shocks from a company that has policies like that.....go right ahead, I was only informing the people that actually wanted to be treated fair....I for one think the shocks peform great....but this shock, it is a brand new spring and it flakes off if you breathe on it.....this is not UNPARALLED QUALITY that I expected and most of all, that I PAID, REPEAT-PAID for.
