I was wondering if any one has ever burnt up there engine due to a lean condition in the mid range or bottem end.I was asking because i have a set of lectrons on my banshee and the mid range looks to be a hair on the lean side but I dont THINK it is any thing major. However due to the power jet on the lectrons I am able to set the top end Jetting just right

So if it is questionable why don't you raise your metering rods a little and see how it runs?

Well I do keep up on top of the jetting but we just had a sudden cold snap and was wondering How lean it had to be to harm your engine in the mid range.I have since richend it up a little. I just wanted to hear some opinions.

If you were a little lean to start with and the temp dropped about 30 degrees it may not run as well. If you punch the throttle the engine would act like it was starving for fuel and may just die.
I think you would mostly notice a big power difference and bad throttle response.
