I have a 1986 trx250r. It has a ct330 big bore, delta reeds, fmf fatty pipe. The carb is a lectron 38x40 hv. I ride every thing from mx to dunes. I have been told that the fmf fatty pipe does not get the maximum power from the 330 big bore. This brings me to my question. What pipes have you tried and would you recomend them?---thanks--john

For a big bore, the ESR TRX5 centermount pipe really shines. The stinger is shorter allowing the pipe to release engine heat faster (and big bores need this). Very sweet pipe.

I've tried the TRX5 reg mount pipe and seem to like it the best so far. Also have tried the CT mx pipe and it works great on a CT ported big bore.

I run the LRD 330 Big bore on a 330 cylinder with the crank stroked 4mm and it works great. The larger diameter of the end of the exhaust and the silencer really helps to let out the exhaust gases and decrease restrictions. I have not tried other pipes but I have only heard good things about the LRD.
