just wondering what would be a good noisy (and powerful) pipe for the 300ex?

FMF is coming out with a new pipe in the next couple of months that would be real good for you. FMF power core.

 

A DG RCM pipe, they don't get much LOUDER than that, trust me I know.

 

Yeah he's not lying. The DG pipes are about the loudest I've ever heard!

if you really want a loud pipe and a powerful one at that then try a white brothers e-series. i have one on my 2000 300ex and it is way louder than my buddies fmf power core on his 400ex. i was at a race a couple weeks ago and i heard a dg on a 300ex and mine was still louder. if the price doesnt matter then go with the white bro. trust me.

i have a dg rcm on my mojave and its hard to get lost out in the woods with this bike being so loud i also have a supertrapp stubby silencer on a 95 300ex and this is also really loud but the bike also runs on 114oct and is punched out to a 405cc by tom carlson

i have the dg rcm pipe on my warrior, and its real loud.

 

A Dg RCM straight pipe that is one loud MOTHER TRUCKER. I have one for my 250x but I don't use it because it is too loud for me. You ride for an half an hour and your deaf. I want to sell mine!!

Actually with the White Bothers pipe put as many discs as you can to get the loudest. 4 discs = .96 inch hole. 28 discs = 2.54 inch hole see the difference. White Brothers said that 12 discs work the best on a 300ex. 12 discs = 1.66 inch hole.
