Stainless Brake lines for the raptor - anyone using them?
#1
Anyone out there try a set of stainless front brake lines on thier raptor? Mine is brand new & has spongy front brakes. With me on the handle bars on the road, PUNCHING the front brake as hard as i can I can't get it to endo. I even have tried throwing my weight, just get a smooshy brake lever. I think my rubber lines are just flexing.
I wanna try a set of alba stainless lines. 89.99 on thier website. worth a shot....

My front's were horrible until I took the quad in to have the factory jetting looked at cuz I was fouling plugs.,.,., anyways, the only thing they found wrong with it was that the front brake needed to be adjusted, or tightened or whatever. They didn't replace them, I actually don't know what they did with them but they are much better now. I was doing endo's earlier today, but I was pushing my weight on the handlebars.

I got the Russell stainless brake lines from Dennis Kirk $99.99 & free shipping.
They really improved the feel of my front brakes.
They have a clear plastic cover on them & they have 3 seperate lines & a 3 way distribution block like the stockers. The alba lines are crimped together, If you crash & screw up a line you have to replace the whole thing instead of just the line that's messed up like you can on the Russells.
