Default Damage From Overheating

What can happen if you over heat your engine to the point that it stalls a lot? Could this be the cause of my base gasket leaking oil? Thanks.

Default Damage From Overheating

Yes that could be a effect of over heating, also it could melt your piston, your rings, blow your head gaskets and in extreme cases completely watste your motor and its possible to melt valves in a 4 stroke.
