Anyone out there running nos. How do you like it. How does the cost of the system compare to the performance gains?

Go with the alky first. It will be cheaper, you can run it at all times not just in bursts, and less headache to tune.

Go with the mikuni TM38 or 41. Look at FTZ's like I said in the PM's. It is a superior carb. I don't feel the Lectrons are all they are cracked up to be.

Ok I'll check them out again, there are alot of people who like the lectron as well. So I don't really know. Guess I'll just pick one and go with it.

Polarisfreak the Lectron carb I think is better then the mikuni,no offense alkyburnerx,I found more hp gain from them.I agree with alkyburner on the cost but I can make a full 1/4 mile run with the nos. What I use to measure the metering rod is a machinist scale rather then a regular ruler, each 1/4 turn setting of the metering rod is equal to 1 jet size.I have 2 Lectron carb's one for gas and one for alky, for the money and hp gain they're worth it.My old nieghbor race's dragbike's KZ 1000cc on mikuni's he could only run high 9's now after buying Lectron's he's in the low 9's almost high 8's.Just my opinion everyone has they're preference.

Hey BuBba I didn't know you had one, they are great and like ya said simple, once you understand how they work, and how to set them they're a breeze. The air/fuel mixture, pilot jetand mainjet setting is all in the metering rod.
