2wd to 4wd

If you have a 2wd quad that also is sold in a 4wd version, then you could do it, but it would probably require a complete drivetrain swap including the motor because the transfer case/transmission is built into the engine assembly (refered to as unitized construction). The front end as far as suspension and hubs would also have to be changed. In the long run, I would think it would be much cheaper to sell your 2wd quad and buy one that is 4wd, not to mention the time savings. 1 hour in the dealership vs. many, many hours in your garage.
