Default powervavle 250r help

Hi, I need some help. I have 4 honda cr250 cylinders, 1 2002 cylinder,1 1999 cylinder,2 1997 cylinders. all these cylinders came stock from honda with a powervavle. My question is does anybody know if i can bolt one of these cylinders up to a 1986 honda trx 250r bottom end, will modification like this work and if I can will the water jackets on the top and bottom ends line up.
Thanks for your help, Phish

I highly doubt it can be simply bolted on or lots of people would have done it already.
Sell all the cylinders and buy a PV that can mate with your TRX bottom end.

Yes it can be done, but its not easy. They run extremely hard (at least on methanol). But they are a bi*ch to mate together.

Depends on the application bubba, some motors run particularly hard on methanol rather then gas. And i know very fast gas bikes that dont respond to methanol. Ive seen bikes run 65 up sand mountain on gas, then convertd to alcohol later that day and it ran 61. So there is differences in what a motor wants

Which year of cylinder would work best and can I use an ftz racing fat in frame pipe on the cr cylinder. Will the cylinder require any kind of modification to match up with my bottom end.
thanks again, Phish

i honestly cant comment on that. Ive never seen inside his motor. Ive worked on the bike to get it ready for the big holidays, but never seen it tore apart. He runs a dual spacer plate on it and it equated to a 277 i believe. Other then that i cant say much. Sorry bro
