I have seen post about removing the airbox lid Etc... Has any one thought about using some of the snorkel tech that the mud guys are using and installing a Ram air system? You just run some pipes to the front and cover with an outerwear to keep out the big stuff. Any thoughts on this before I try it?

Sounds like a good idea I suppose. Let me know how it turns out as it could be helpful for racing quads as well as 4-bys. I know that they make hoodscoops and such for the 250r's but not a real ram air system.

I have tried this on streetbikes. You would almost need to have a flatslide carb, or pressurize your float bowl. BUT, you would never be able to get enough air pressure to make a difference. On you average sportbike with ram-air, it makes no difference until you exceed about 80-90 mph.

I have thought about using a high rpm fan 12v between the filter and intake of the carb. it would help force air into the carb and still filter it. Just an idea.
