I saw a 225 yamaha 3 wheeler converted to a 4 wheeler with a timberwolf front end using only a arc welder a grinder and a set of torches and supprisengly it worked out well

 

Yes, I am thinking about picking up an atc70 for a good price and converting it for a neat project, depends on how much the kit costs as to whether it is worth considering.

 

I called them up and they said they stopped makeing the kits about a year ago. Kits were around $1500. Not a good investment for a 70, might have considered doing a 250r. I have heard the conversions worked well, but usually better off buying a regular quad.

 

when i was kid quad shopping i ran across many 4wheel 70's in great shape. they are about the same price as the atc. i did a search and found them at dealers mostly. one in missouri had 2.

i seen a tecate3 that had the kit it looked great so is it a tecate 3 or a tecate 4
