Alright, here is a good one. I read a post on this site some time ago about using a Ford "Duraspark" ignition unit on a quad. The guy said it worked, not sure of which type of bike he actually used it on, but it sounds interesting and I want to try it. We are almost positive my brothers Bansheehas a bad CDI unit, and we want to go riding this weekend, so if we replace it with a Banshee unit, we won't be riding. Any ideas of who this guy was who did this? Or have any of you. The wiring schematics look like it is feasible, we are going to try it even if we don't get a repsponse here soon. Later.

 

i have a 86 bayou 300 it needs a cdi and i heard of a chevy automotive replacement with wiring instructions.. but can't find anything on the web ... can you help my e-mail is airboatslider@worldnet.att.net
