Hey i own a 01 mojave And i need some help. I want to get just a little more performance out of it. I was thinking about overcamming it, i need prices and the best place to send my engine. Any help would be appreciated!

 

hey ya i also have a mojave and i got a dg pipe and a k & n power kit for it. both cost about 150 dollars each. the dg pipe is real loud

last summer i called micky dunlap at Four Stroke Tech and talked to him about the FSTmojave big-bore 330 kit and he said $325 but i think that dosent include shipping ect ect

 

That aint bad for a big bore. On opion(or anyone with a 330 kit) wich is faster 330 kiy, or KX250?

 

i dunno witch is faster but the cams will really wake it up and with a carb omg i can beat a prarie 650 down low but just a little faster at 68mph

 

U mean that with all that it still only goes 68 mph.??? cause a blaster can go like 80 modded

 

i just started my mojave project. you wana make it look fast and go fast. these little 250s can really wake up. first of all pipe and air filter. the best pipe hands down is the supertrapp ids2. it comes with header and everything. it has a really good sound to.not obnoxiously loud either. for air filter. get a uni or a k&n. im not sure about the uni but if you get a k&n you will need one with a 5 degree bend to clear the seat mount. so dimensions for the k&n is 2 1/8 flange, 3 1/2 inches wide, by 4 inches long with a 5 degree bend.this is a clamp on airfilter that gets rid of that choked up snorkel garbage. you will also have to get a crankcase breather htat has a 5/8 barb and run some clear tubing to your crankcase. maier race cut fenders look really good, especially with a smoothie race hood. i havnt researched cams yet but their a little hard to find. research in the kawasaki forum "mojave" and you should get tons of posts by me and others. i did lots of diggin on lots of different mods. mojaveaddict knows everything about mojaves.(every frikin thing) check out his site to.also go to tripple w kawieriders .com their is a mojave section their and theirs lots of info. mojave addict was a huge help in my studies.pm me if you want more info. i also got some other things for my mojave check out my pics and check out the parts i got. i have some of my parts already but the majority of my parts should be coming in this week and i will be starting my project. there is a 400 ex carb mod to you can

 

well i could still pull taller gearing cause i son't even use 1st gear and it gets to top speed in like 5 seconds

I should have about $1000 after this summer so we'll see
