Yes you are pretty close to the specifications. The fan should kick on at 260 degrees fahrenheit @ 2.5K ohms resistance. The fan kicks off at 240 degrees @ 3.5k ohms. Fans as mentioned rarely come on unless the oil is super hot. You can pull the sensor connector, jump a wire between the two wires and the fan should come on. This is just for test purposes to make sure the fan motor is ok and not a problem.

Thank you for your reply.

The fan works perfectly When I simulate with a potentiometer. But he snaps a 2.4K ohm, not 3.5K. I can be a problem. ??

With the information provided I can test the sensor in the oil I'll heat.

Thank

I wouldn't worry about it! My personal opinion is that Polaris could have just had an oil cooler without the fan OR simply left the oil cooler off. Plenty of machines around like this that are just air cooled and last forever.Plus as mentioned even in the shop I could never get the oil cooled machines hot enough to trigger the fans.Even most of the owners I talked to never had the fan kick on..

A big thank you to these explanations.

This is what I said my father too.

However, I tested the probe.

A 212 ° F I have 6.15 K Ohm
226 ° F -> 4.9k
234 ° F -> 4.28K
246 ° F-> 3.58K
255 ° F-> 3.22K
261 ° F-> 2.95K
271 ° F-> 2.51K
284 ° F-> 2.15K
302 ° F-> 1.80K

It's okay apparently.

I'll tell my father that there is no problem
