What oil do you use in your bike?
#2
Not again!
Amsoil,Mobil1,Rotella,and the list can go on and on. Weights between 5w50,5w40,0w40 now are finally ok to use as we all knew they were! Since Polaris doesn't have a wet clutch (except the imported ones) even energy saving auto oil is fine as long as it's synthetic! Oil is a personal preference and people will stay with what they feel comfortable with and feel like they've had the best luck with..

He wasn't insinuating that you had asked before but that is one of the most common questions on quad forums and one with the most opinionated answers.
I run Mobil 1 4T 4 cycle oil, I wanted a good synthetic that was easy to find and that I could use in my 700 Raptor, YFZ450, 500 Polaris and 800 CanAm.
There are plenty of other oils that would be fine but this is the one I picked.

Not you,but 1000 other guys have
In all seriousness any good synthetic within the above ranges are ok. Polaris just "recommends" if you use a different oil than theirs to change it "more frequently" which I think is stupid now since they've change from the original 0w40 to 2w50 and now offer an "extreme" 5w50 oil! Oil is like politics and religion. Everyone has their own preference.

No offense taken. I searched it out but nothing came up.
I can see people preferring what they are used to and trust.

Don't take this old man seriously!! You have multiple choices on oil other than Polaris as long as you try not to get over 5wt as it offers quicker flow at start up,BUT again others will differ with me on this.
