2000 425 petcock question
#1
Normally I'll turn petcock off and let idle until stall on all my bikes but today it wouldn't run out so I rode for an hour in the off position and never stalled. Any ideas?

Last year of the 425 Magnum was 98,if this is what you have. I'd suspect a faulty fuel valve or possibly the fuel **** extension could be broken not fully shutting fuel valve. Pull the fuel line at the carb with the valve closed and see if fuel comes out when you crank it over. If it does I'd replace the fuel valve.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse
