I guess that's what I wanted to hear opt lol so bringing in the 12 volts shouldn't hurt the Cdi ? I really appreciate your advice and knowledge it is much appreciated !

Sorry wasn't paying attention.. In the main harness sheathing should be the wire you need.. It won't have a connector like the one you're showing with a black/white. Should just have a female bullet connection.. Where did this connector come from?? Possible though this might be where the jumper goes that you're missing that branches to the red/white and also the black kill wire? Hard for me to remember on the 600..

Ya sorry that is not the pic I wanted to post that is the brown connector to the Cdi which has a mate , yes I tore apart the harness sheathing and the double red white wire is going to a single bullet type connector just not a single red white wire ,it was at top of harness sticking out slightly an full off crap also as I said it has 12 volt with key on . I'll keep trying to put the right pic up thanks

U can see the black connector for kill switch along with red whites to single bullet connector

Just got in from the shop , I ran a jumper to the two red white wires turned the key and she fired right up . Thank you old Polaris tech for sharing your hard earned knowledge ! This bike when I picked it up hadn't run for a very long time . Thanks again

You'll probably notice that it starts easier,idles better,will probably have a little better fuel economy. The ignition system is up dated to a dci type system that is better than the old magneto triggered system.
