Probably not...you're delving into significant customization...I'd suggest you get a hold of the 700 wiring harness as well...that will make your live a lot easier...

Ignition timing was 25 degree BTDC on the 600,32 degrees BTDC on the 700 so ignitions are different as well as the part numbers shown for each on the older Ducati ignitions as well as the individual parts(stator,cdi,regulator) on the Kokusan updated ignition kits for both the 600 and 700 models.. You either have to go all the way on transforming an already "good" running 600 to a 700 or keep what you have and enjoy it or sell it and get something else. Ain't worth the effort on creating a transformer.

That's what I needed to know, thanks alot. Maybe not the answer I wanted to hear but good information haha. I'll just stick with what I got

and...I'm sure there's plenty you can do to that machine to make it more 700-like...at far less hassle/expense then the proposed swap...
