Obvious thing to do I'd first is to compare the new jet sizes with the old jets in the old carb if you have it. If you bought one of those clone Mikuni carbs on ebay, that would have been the first thing I would have checked. Stock main was 122.5,pilot was 42.5 in the standard Mikuni carb. If the jetting, float level is correct then I'd check for any leaks at the intake manifold or even the exhaust gasket at the head that could be sucking in air.Plus here's the carb section pdf from the manual that can help you on this carb.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...U2gGlaHJWSIlbA Plus wouldn't hurt to pull the fuel line from the carb and see if the fuel pump has a good stream of fuel when you crank the engine over.
