Default 6x6 ranger camshaft

You were right its the camshaft ordered kit read about being careful of dowel pins in rocker assembly falling out is that really a common thing for them to fall out or will they stay in one side or the other an i assume they are steel

Yes they are steel.If you remove the rocker blocks slowly the dowels usually stay in the head or one may stay in the rocker block.Here's a free pdf service manual on the 500. All the engines were the same no matter what atv or Ranger they were in. Look at chapter 3 page 45 for rocker block removal.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...Z7Rqhg&cad=rja
