Default 2015 570 Sportsman

Why is my Sportsman 570 "creeping" while in gear? When in neutral bad knocking noise occurs when idled up. Thanks for any help!

Creeping is usually either clutch or belt related plus alignment may be off. One way washers may be worn allowing the belt to touch the inner sheath, worn belt moving over and touch inner sheath. The rear clutch usually has a load on it from this and just makes shifting and creeping a problem. Plus too high of an idle can do the same thing. You check closer by removing the clutch cover, inspect the belt and if possible without being to dangerous about it,see if the rear clutch can be slowed down while in neutral. If it can't then check into the front clutch for worn parts. Hard to find cheap manuals for this late of a model.https://www.tradebit.com/filedetail....5-full-service
