Default Polaris Sportsman cooling fan tsb

Had the dealer run my VIN for my 2006 Sportsman 500 EFI. It came back with a cooling fan TSB (which expired in 2010), part number is 2203193 (see link below for part). From what I read it's simple to put in but I can't find instructions. My question is, does anyone know where this harness is installed so that I can check to see if it's already been done before I buy the part? Thanks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/282198396307?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Don't remember doing this one,but the kit is for erratic hot light and fan operation. If it's a simple plug and go,the harness should install between the hot light sensor and fan connections or into the ecu I'm guessing. Had problems on some 800s on doing this that a Polaris engineer told me to use a 33 ohm resistor on one lead of the hot light sensor to keep it from triggering before the fan did..Didn't ever get a tsb on that one that I can remember.

Thanks. So to access the ECU I think I remember reading elsewhere that it's by the headlight? I haven't ever taken any plastic off of this particular ATV. This has the storage bin on the front, would I take that off to get access to the fan wiring?
