Default Scrambler 400 clutch question

Hey guys ive got.a 02 scrambler 400 2wd that needs a clutch. My question is will a comet clutch from a sportsman 500ho work? I know it will fit but will the springs and weight be ok to run on it. I have the clutch internals from the scrambler but dont want to pay the price for the comet just to strip it down

Problem is if it's an ebs clutch, mismatching the drive clutch with a non ebs secondary causes problems. ANY drive clutch from a non ebs 250,300,325,330,350,400,or a 425 will work on your Scrambler with no problems other than using your old spring and counter weights. If it's a non ebs Comet clutch then it shouldn't be a problem.
