My local dealer told me that my clutch plates we're cracked on my 2002 Sportsman 400. After looking on line I do not see any parts diagram that mention clutch plates? Could someone tell me the proper name of them or a part number? I'm thinking and hoping I can change them myself?

 

Cvt system like most other Polaris atvs.Only Polaris full size machines to have clutch plates were the Xpediton 425,Predator and Outlaw. Possible he was talking about cracks in the inner sheath of the drive clutch or problems with the secondary clutch.Sounds like you need to have another talk with him.
