W to ground : 0 volts
W/Red to ground : 0 volts
W to W/Red : 7 Volts DC
I'm starting to think you may be right about the Caltric cdi
Do you think I should just go ahead and order another cdi, and who would you recommend?

If you're getting some voltage from the pick up coil but nothing out of the cdi, sounds like that could be the problem area.An oem cdi you can pretty well depend on but it's 234 bucks.Ricks I would think would be a little more trustworthy than some of Caltric parts. 67 bucks for the #3085639 Polaris equivalent. https://ricksmotorsportelectrics.com...CDI-Box-15_504 You might check others such as Ricky Stators,RMStator, etc as to what they may offer also. Plenty of cdi modules from 18-30 bucks or so on ebay(Caltric probably included) but for that cheap price I wouldn't place much faith in any of them.
