Depends on which model tank you have. First tank(until 2/21/03)had two lines from the tank to the fuel valve. Right side of the valve was the reserve line, left side main fuel line. Nipple at back of fuel valve went to the top nipple of the fuel pump(inlet) middle nipple(outlet) went to the carb. Lower nipple(marked "p") was the vacuum line that hooked to the right side of the carb. Later model tank had one outlet from the tank leading to the fuel valve. Fuel line leading out went to the fuel pump inlet at the top. Middle was the outlet to the carb, bottom line again is the vacuum line leading to the right side of the carb on its vacuum nipple.

Should be one line from the tank to the valve, the other(back one) to the fuel pump inlet. From there you can look at the first pic on the pump lines. I think they changed valves since you have the fuel gauge or should have on your model. Too many changes sometimes to keep up with..

That should be the vacuum line leading to the pump, not on the carb as the rest of the models are.Strange as I don't remember this one.One nipple on side of the carb should then be the atmospheric vent tube that either goes through the the tank bracket hole or inserts into the hole in the top frame rail. That I can't remember either.. Too old and too many years have passed..
