05 polaris predator 500

Default 05 polaris predator 500
I have a predator that was running fine then all of a sudden it just cranks now. It's getting spark ,has fresh fuel an checked the timing chain which seems nice an tight still... would the rings cause it to just crank with a back fire every now an then.an I have not checked the compression yet
