I was given a 03 709 twin because guy couldn’t get it running well. He changed ignition and jets but still bogged down. I’m pretty handy so I figured I’d have a go at it. First I changed the jets back to stock and cleaned carb. No good. Next fuel pump had broken diaphragm so new fuel pump. No change. Then cheap Chinese carb. Same as original so put original back on. Has good compression in both cylinders. Changed intake because is cheap and what the hell. Plugs and wires also changed. Changed stator with cheap and nothing changed. Still bogs when u try to get past 1/2 throttle. Isles awesome. Even changed exhaust gaskets where manifold meets engine. New battery also. Switch in throttle nice and clean with no corrosion.
