It’s been a long time, but on my 2001 trailblazer someone tried to steal it. We assume they shorted something out in the attempt to bypass the key, and replacing everything did not help. Somehow I figured out removing one of the wires headed to the cdi solved the problem of no spark. Had to add a kill switch to reconnect that wire, otherwise there was no way to turn it off. Let me look through my notes and see if I can figure out which wire. It’s a long shot but maybe it will work for you?

edit- it was the black wire grounding out the spark. Unplug the ground wire to the Cdi and see if that makes a difference. Doubtful, but it could be.
