2001 Sportsman 500 overheating
Can’t figure out why this machine is still overheating. I have changed thermostat, water, pump, impeller, fan temperature sensor, pulled the radiator and flushed, change the plastic that the radiator hoses hooked to with new radiator cap. Jacked the front up while filling radiator to push out air. Removed thermostat housing, and filled motor with antifreeze to eliminate air pockets. checked both radiator hoses to make sure they weren’t collapsed. The fan kicks on after a few minutes of riding as it should.

Is the black plastic "screen" still in front of the radiator?
Is held in place at the sides of the rad with 2 heavy black rubber bands.
If so, remove it..Ya dont need it. It fixed my old one and mine was doing everything right too.
If it is not there any longer and is overheating then i got nothing.
