Default EBS On the RZR

Not sure, But does the RZR have EBS. If not, how does the RZR handle going down a minor grade? The group that ride with tell me if I'am gonna buy a RZR better stock up on brake pads and I said ya right. ( these are Polaris and Grizz riders).
I'am 56 yr young at heart currently riding a 05 500 HO and want to trade up to a SXS machine. I like what I see in the RZR and reading these comments in this forum, helps me out and I feel I'am ready to get the RZR.
There are questions though like what I seen in a Dune Buggy web site that reviewed the RZR and showed some points to look at such as the location of the radiator hose rubbing near the r/rear shock spring and the location of the fresh air intake collecting a lot of dust. I just wondering if you all are experiencing the same. Just like the gas pedal and now q solution from Polaris is coming out for those with a light foot.

So, its' the Polaris quality that I'am wondering. Is the RZR going to be the same as I have had owning my first Polaris machine or much better product. Only you all that have them now will be the test for me and future buyers. Thanks for keeping us inform on all of your points of interest of your RZR.

I have owned a 87 Big Bear,02 Kodiak and then 03 Kodiak 450. The quality on those machines held a lot better than the 500 HO. I like the ride but not the repair costs.
I'am waiting to see what Yamaha will bring out for 08. Rumor at Our Local Dealer is the Rhino will have 700 efi powerplant and powersteering feature plus the current models. Sounds Just like what they did for 08 Grizz models.

I was sure you would of had a lot of post on this by now. I'm not qualified to answer your question, I still waiting for my RZR. I did read on and other forum all about the braking system. There was a lot of input and a lot of opinions on how it worked. That is one thing you do get. Bottom line is that it DOES slow you down with out using your foot brake. It also takes a little getting use to, do to the fact that you have to keep the rpms up. If I remember my 6-wheel ranger was the same.
Hope this helps, oh and it was on the PRC forum

Thanks Capt I thought I would too. Will wehn you do get your RZR keep me posted on how you like the handling on the way you ride. My Ho has EBS and does slow down without using too much brake. But on the other hand my Kodiaks did a better job on engine braking.
