Default PTV brake problem

I recently was given a 2003 Polaris PTV 500, pretty much the same as the sportsman. The pads on the rear brakes were shot so i dissembled the rear brake and installed new pads. I never touched the front ones. The brakes now wont work. There is no resistance when i squeeze the brake lever. Whats wrong and more importantly how do I fix this? Thanks

Default PTV brake problem

A little more info would help, by "disassembled", does that mean you just replaced the worn pads, or did you take off the brake line, pull out the caliper piston, etc? if you opened a bleeder screw or loosened a line to get at anything, you got air trapped in the system and will have to bleed the back brakes to get function back. Try bleeding first and let us know if there is a difference.
