Default 06 ranger shocks..adj.

hi on my 06 500 ranger i was looking today at the rear shocks and with some reading they are set to softest settings.
i drive on mostly hills. slants, banks never harldy flat ground and i haul wood , dirt just typicall famr useage .
i like the soft ride took a while to get use to feels like its going to upset but its the shocks working..
ok swhould i adjustthem to the stifest setting
if i go stiff are they more likely to bust the shocks.
and whats it matter if i put the topp of the shock in on shackel .b. closest to the tire or leave it on shackel .a. wich is on the inside of the frame..
just curious whats the best i been debating all day long ..
thanks

Moving shock to outer mounting hole at top will give a stiffer ride and raise machine slightly. Jack up rear first to relieve tension and adjust to stiffer setting(easier to remove tires sometimes) If not satisfied, then can move rear shocks out and adjust for even more firmer ride. Good luck
