Hello, anybody test drove or own the new diesel ranger? I am looking at getting a ranger, going to use it for work and play, and in winter it will get tracks and a plow. Any pros and cons of the Diesel over the gas?

My local dealer gave me one for a days hunting back in December.

It did the job well, carried three men, two dogs, guns and game very comfortably.

As a work horse I'd say it's a no-brainer however it isn't sporty in the least.

I'm looking forward to trying a petrol model later this year with hopefully a bit more poke.

They are selling like hot cakes over here but they are used purely as a work horse and fuel prices are rediculous.
