Default 2011 polaris 500 crew fuel pump

My fuel pump isn't working. I only have 5 volts coming to the pump in the tank. That's on the purple/white stripe wire in the center of the plug. Shouldn't it be 12 volts and can I run
a hot wire to it to test the pump? I swapped the relays and it didn't help.

Load test the battery even if it's new to make sure it's ok.Check fuel pump pressure if you can. Should hold 39psi.Only thing the manual shows is that it must have a minimum of 7 volts to the ecu. FUEL PUMP TEST
NOTE: If a fuel delivery problem is suspected, make
certain the filters are not plugged, that the pump is
being activated through the ECU, all electrical
connections are properly secured, the fuses are
good, and a minimum of 7.0 volts is being supplied.
If during starting, the battery voltage drops below 7.0
volts, a reduction of fuel pressure may occur
resulting in a lean starting condition. If required,
testing of the fuel pump and circuitry may be
conducted.
If you need a service manual here's one for 10 bucks that can help.http://polaris-utv.servicemanualvaul...ce-Manual.html
