can you shorten your springs to spften up your ride

There are adjustments on the shocks where the springs are. Usually, Polaris has a spanner wrench as part of the tool kit that comes with the ATV/UTV. The pre-load adjustment has a ring that has notches in it. The notches are made for the spanner wrench to fit its two teeth into. One thing you want to do when adjusting the pre-load is to jack up that end of your RZR when you adjust so it's easier. Sometimes a little WD-4- between the shock body, and notched sleeve helps too.
