250 Explorer-More get up and go?

250 Explorer-More get up and go?
Hey guys I've got a 2000 Explorer 250 and was wondering if there was much I could do with it as far as power modifications. I mostly trail ride but I do have few places where I can open her up. Most of the performance accessories I've seen are for the bigger quads. What are some simple things I can do without breaking the bank, the quad or my neck?
