How to reduce steering effort?

slim wallet,
I would seriously contemplate this before jumping in and doing it..
Lubrication, frontend alignment, and higher tire pressure will not
affect the turning radius.. it already has a huge turning radius, larger
for me would be unacceptable.. maybe it's not important to u, but I
already have to use reverse so much more than the other guys now
because of my turning radius in the woods/trails...

Hey Traildog,
Got back to town, got the parts and photo...looks to be pretty rugged and and it sure looks like it will work well.
Will try to get it all together next weekend.
Thanks very much,
Slim Wallet

If you can't find Tri-Flow locally, I know Grainger carries it. Works great on chains too.....and no, I don't own any interest in the company, the stuff just flat works.

Hey Slim what kind of tires do you have?
My dad has an 00 Mag 500 and I couldnt believe how hard it was to steer compared to my Xplorer.
Anyway after a lot of nagging from me he bought a set of Bearclaws for it and we were both amazed at how much easier it steered afterward. The straight lugs on the stock tires tend to dig in when turning from side to side but the Bearclaws pivot on the center lug, making it a lot easier to steer.
To quote my dad..."Man this thing feels like it has power steering now".
Anyway that was just a thought.

Andy,
You know, I never thought about that. I still have the stock tires.....not yet worn out but maybe I need to think about that.
BTW....still trying to find "Triflow" but I'll try that as well.
Thanks,
Slim
