KInda of ashamed of dyno #'s on the bike.On Highlifters dyno it produced 30 RWHP @ 5000 rpm with 32 foot pounds of torque at 4600 rpm with a top speed of 78 mph at 7600 rpm.The #'s are depressing for what I have.Anyone else as depressed as me?Thats ok,because the motor is on It's way for some serious horsepower gains.Just trying to get a baseline for future mods.

I wouldn't hold those numbers for the Gospel. Is this machine stock?? I've never known a stock machine to run 78 mph so if this is wrong then it might stand to reason that the hp and torque numbers may be wrong as well. I think the dyno has to be set up for a automatic quad but I might be wrong.

Chasis dynos are fun, but there not the friend of a PVT quad. You have to dyno at the crank.

I was told by the operator that it probably produced 50 hp at the crank.

You can't dyno pvt's at the wheels, to hard to keep them in one gear, alway trying to shift. I wouldn't worry about dyno's they very to much, go by feel and get to a track where you can tune by et's.

i think your # are wrong, the 400 2 stroke in stock form produce 36 hp at the crank so maybe in the upper 25 or so at the wheels, stock trim you'll
never run 78 mph on that quad unless some good reefers, and with the stock
pipe and don`'t think you'll ever spin the motor to 7600 rpm...
