Great pics also and if the Sportsman made it thru that maybe they arent as bad as some try to tell us.

I was a little disapointed that the point of the post started the wrong way but got back on track now.I'd like to thank everyone who commented and the ones that seen pictures, makes all that work worth while.I really like the visibility of YELLOW,and yes they take a beating here. There are plenty of less difficult trails in the area but wanted to put the 500 to the test. The FOREMAN we rode with a couple of days was an impressive machine also, that limited slip hurt him a couple of times but we all had winches and had great time.To me part of the fun was getting to use the winch to go some where that others couldn't.Guess the one thing that sticks in my mind was the way everyone took care of each other, thats what it,s all about. Not weather you ride POLARIS,HONDA or what ever,we were just out to have fun and succeded, just a bunch of old guy's happy as if they had good sence.CM (COB)

After our clubs ride this weekend one of the guys had a SP500 & his wife a SP335. The SP500 is huge. It felt like I was driving a tank in that it would go anywhere. I was impressed with it. He had it for 6 months & no problems. Then I drove the SP335 nice but it felt heavy for the 335 engine. I did like the ground clearence on both machines.

An observations from a Honda guy!

SNOW ;thanks for the come back, especially from a HONDA guy.As you seen we rode with FOREMAN a couple of days nice quad we didn't do anything that he didn't(FROM A POLARIS GUY),the 500 does sit higher and is bigger but you get used to it and I like the bigness.I would agree with you on 335 have not ridden one but would think they would have hard time with the weight of 500 and smaller motor.CM

I have a 335. I have rode a 500. I do agree the 500 has more get up and go but my 335 went everywhere the 500 went. With no problems, we went through some pretty rough stuff. Not trying to start anything, but people put down the 335 because of its cc rating to weight ratio. Look at the Magnum 325 it only weighs 50 pounds less than mine not that much of a diference. Just my opinion. Like I always say any atv is a good atv reguardless of model or size, simply because we are able to still ride. Sorry I got off the subject couldnt help. And yes the 500 is tough.

Hi Cob,

Just a note to let you know I really enjoyed the pictures, and I also was curious about the seat design????? Oh, before I forget, it DOES look good in yellow!

Atving,
Seems to me that a 400ex and a SP500 are in totally different classes. Mudding, it's the SP. Everywhere else the 400ex shines.

Oh, by the way, nice pics
