Predator Suspension at Black River Falls
#1
Just back from a day riding at Black River Falls Wisconsin. The first, oh 5 miles.....no exaggeration is sandy woops. If you live anywhere near there, and wonder if your supsension is dialed in...that's the place to test. Holy Cow!! I think I'm sea-sick, and that not any fault of the quad. Yeah I totally agree with you that you can get the "sea sick" feeling after riding around Jackson County for a couple hours. I live just north of BRF in Merrillan and can hit the trails from my house. It is nice to be able to ride down there or go north-east and hit Clark county trails. The Clark trails are mainly old logging roads so they are hard gravel, but if you go north you can get into some pretty deep mud holes and have allot of fun. Both of the counties provide different types of trails for everyones needs so it is just a matter of the type of riding you like to do.

Doesn't that get you into the territory of DNR "officer" Thiede? We had a nice discussion one time when my buds and I were issued a ticket for behaving ourselves. Ask around if that's in his area. If not, I'm there.

I will also agree on the sandy woops around BRF country. Even with 12" of travel on my DS, I've still almost lost it on many occasions! Of course, that is quite easy when I was going t least 50 mph along the prison. One wrong move and things happen real quick! Clark County is the place to ride if you enjoy riding fast! I did over 300 miles in one day when riding Clark and Trempealeau counties.

Well I went out last night for the first time since my Scrambler has been running better with the new filter. The trails were pretty tore up from all the action over the weekend north of Merrillan, but it was still fun. There were some pretty good sized water holes, but I punched the throttle before I hit them and skimmed right over the top, fun fun. We had some rain last night so I will be out there tonight again since it won't be as dusty, so I will have to see how dirty I can get. It is just terrible when you can go down the road and you have access to hundreds of miles of nice ATV trails.
