Default Predator A-Arms

Has anybody seen aftermarket a-arms for the predator? I need a set of +2's with heavy duty ball joints and adjustable caster and camber. I killed another set of oem ball joints this weekend. I only rode 3 days at 2 different MX tracks and their already loose again. I'm sure my dealer will be happy to hear from me on Tuesday seeing how this will be the second time to have them replaced.

MODQUAD, didn't you post something about different ball joints, that were greasable? If so, where are they-where can I find them. Thanks.

From what I understand, some people are having problems with loose ball joints. There shouldn't be any play in them at all.

The a-arms themselves are fine I'm having problems with the ball joints. They just can't handle the stress of MX. This is going to be the 3rd set of OEM ball joints, the last set lasted 4 days before they were loose again. Of course I was was hitting jumps 4th gear tapped out though so I know its really hard on the suspension. The WE shocks are worken great though. I was clear'n a 75 foot tabletop all day long and they soaked up the landing perfectly.

I've had mine replaced once and they are getting loose again. Is it possible that these ball joints could be the same dimensions as some aftermarket ones that use a harder steel in them? Just a thought. Otherwise I guess this machine will just eat ball joints like it does tires....possibly the chains also..

Isn't it kinda amazing though that you can slam it enough to ream the ball joints but everything else is steady. I've not seem the Z400 have the same kinda luck. Crack....there goes your Zuki..swingarm. If only they had enough power to clear a bigger jump I guess the weak swingarms wouldn't rear there ugly heads, wouldn't be a good thread on the polaris board if I didn't pick on the others, Right!

Sorry ProX, that was the HPD steering kit. It has greaseable tie-rod ends, and some other serious duty items. Haven't ventured into the balljoint upgrade. If I can find some time, I'll put some feelers out for some.

Yea, the spring has been busy. The current tach idea kinda hit a wall for a bit. Wait till the new tail-light gear is here. Besides that, gotta finish the Sport and get it ready for the clutch tests along with a paddle tire shootout.....sure is fun though!
