Hey if the RUBY turns out to be a good deal and works like it's supose to maybe we'll all benefit as I'm sure that the other manufactors aren't going to sit back and twiddle thier thumbs,if it don't work nothing ventured nothing gained.I'm happy with my 500SP it does the job and takes abeating but if they can improve on performance bring it on.COB

I think that this tranny will be great. I know that skid steer loaders use this same concept a (hydrostatic pump driving a hydrostatic motor.) It can be stalled with out hurting it or losing RPM. The variable swash plate can provide variable speed and variable torque. The only thing that I am wondering is if this thing is open center or closed center. If its closed it will have engine braking. Also will they run the engine at a constant RPM and just vary the swash plate with the thumb throtle?
