So here it is about a year after the predator comes out and has its grave dug by the raptor, and today Yamaha shoves it in the hole and covers it with dirt ( the new 450 came out). Why did they even bother creating the predator?

Has its grave dug by the Raptor? How so? The (post 02) Raptor is a fine bike, but the Ped is in a different league as far as handling goes. Personally I hope the yzf does well, the more compettion the better. How bout you grow up a little Hossblur

Actually I have ridden a pred. Rode it, the suzki/kawa, and 400ex then bought the rappy. The only advantage the pred would have had was in MX, yamaha just took care of that!

My buddy just got a Predator about three weeks ago. I'll tell you this right now that bike has got some power. This coming from a Banshee pilot. It really surprised me. I think it's time to get out of the '80's and jump on the thumper band-wagon. I'll be stopping by the Yamaha shop tomorrow to see it I can get on the waiting list for this 450.

I think the Predator has found some competition!

No Loadtoad, sorry I should've specified, it was at Hossblur. Local Preds are selling for $5499...for $1200 more, it had better have titanium in the valvetrain. Should be fun, ride what you like, and join a club.
