dillian,
I got water in my belt casing last weekend for the 1st time. I think the clamps on the vent tube were my problem. Had the cover off changing the belt the day before and the clamps are fairly flimzy. Going to change them. Have been in much deeper stuff before and no problems. Really like that drain though!

The belt housing should not leak. If it is there is a problem. First, have you had the belt housing cover off? If yes, you may not have the gasket in properly. If no, then then the leak is eather coming from the belt exhaust, belt air intake, or the primary and secondary seals. If you want to find the leak, slowly fill the belt exhaust snorkel with water, when the belt housing fills up, it will start to leak from somewhere...that will be what to fix. Pull drain plug and go to work.

I had a leak in my belt housing after I installed my snorkels...and the leak was not coming from the snorkels. It was leaking where the belt air intake goes into the housing, tightened clamp. The seal was also leaking behind the primary clutch. I removed both primary and secondary and cleaned both seals, put some 3m marine sealent, reattached, put new gastket on belt housing, put 3m sealant around belt housing....now no more leaks. You may not have to go to this extreme...but I ride in deep water, cannot be having any leaks.

Hey LaMudd, How do you like your 28" Mudzillas? Do the rub? What kind of lift do you have? Got any pics of your bike?

this is a photo of my bike, in this photo I haw laws in the front. Depends on the bottom and mud as to which tire I like better. Laws have that huge side lug and paddle, the zillas have a larger center lug and dig...I am running both now. Laws rear, Zillas front.

I have a HL Lift, Progressive Springs, and Polaris Spring Compressors.
