is boring for a 250 worth it?

i am considering getting my 2002 trailblazer bored to .080 and i was wondering if anyone knew if it was worth it? also i would be getting a wisco piston and rings. Someone please help me because i am gonna be sending it away if it's worth it anyday now.

You wont notice a big performance change with boring. If you want the next biggest increase in power then porting is next. Porting has a performance jump like the pipe gave you. If you want a good port job and dont want your bike to be down for weeks then BUBBA297 is the one to talk to. He has done tons of port jobs on polaris 2 strokes. He did mine and was very happy with it. My bike was down for a week. Also if you bore to big then that is less life that you will have on the next bore. Most people go for .20-.40. That way you can get more bores in the future once you cook the piston.
