Just seeing who has an 04 model and how many hours you got on it. I got one and have had it for about 3 months but only have been able to put 6.5 hours on it. Also, what mods you got going on with it.... Anyone convert the thumb to a twist throttle?

I own a 04 sp 500 ho. and I'm very happy with it. I have 92.5 miles on it and 10.5 hours. Not looking to put any add on on it, but I did get a 2500lb warn winch and a 60 inch plow for it.

Well Iggy, I guess we are truly special. 73 views and you and I seem to be it. I dont plan on doing a whole lot to mine either. I believe that the life of the machine is lengthened by leaving the stock for the most part. I do want to lose my thumb throttle though. I got it to get around better while elk/deer hunting and it will be sweet to have where we duck hunt. Those huge bags of decoys now can be motored in rather than back busted in.......

Take Care,,,,,

I have 04 500 H.O. about 130 miles, have installed the heelclicker kit ,but left the stock primary in.also made a small class 3 type hitch on the rear so i can slide in different receivers I have made up,like a foldind deer rack ,a " J ' hook for pulling stuff ,plus regular trailer hitches fit right in.Warn 2.5 winch ,polaris brushguard,60'' plow,,K. N filter, polris handguards, water wetter antifreeze additive, also exstended the front pumpkin breather hose up into the headlight pod to keep it high and dry.made a water splash shield for left fender oil tank area to keep water from splashing up into the belt drive exhaust breather on the left side.Soon changing over to sportsman 700 front springs to help take away the sagginees problem since adding all the weight to frontend. But they are backordered.
