Default Predator Air filter question

What is the best way to go. I have the WB pipe, K& N air filter and modded my air box but have heard different stories on which is better. I am thinking on trying a clamp on K & N with an outer wear. I drive thru some puddles, mud, etc sometimes. Is the Outerwear waterproof and does it filter enough? Thanks

As long as you get a "WR" in the part number of the Outerware, it's water resistant. The Predator has some pretty good splash protection. K&N RU-1770 and Outerware, WR125-6T.

Modquad, you're also supposed to say that it's race proven...that's how you sell a product!!

K&N #62-1010 filter for the crankcase breather, not sure if you saw the other post, but using an aviation style adel clamp, and one slightly longer screw, you can then cut the hose, install the filter, and secure it to the aft-most throttle cover screw on the carb....it's nicely protected there, and RACE PROVEN!!!
