Default I Want To,,,

Lighten the load of my 500 Sportsman. The first thing I can think of to obtain this is,,, new aluminum wheels. When I weight my stock rear wheel the other day, I was shocked that it tipped the scales at 41 lbs. Who has the best deal on a wheel and what can I expect to pay?

Thanks,

For my 500 is there ones I should steer clear from vs. ones to look at? I see where some are beadlock, 190s, etc. Whats the skinny?

I wouldn't go with the beadlocks there alot of money and unless you do aggressive racing you probably wouldn't have a problem with braking the seal. The douglas .190 red labels are about the best deal and there very durable. if you go with a thinner wheel like the .160 there more prone to denting and bending out of shape

Do you or anyone else know the weight difference between the stock steel vs. the douglas red label?

On My trailblazer I think they were about 4 pounds lighter apeice on the rear and 3 pounds on the front. But I also went with a smaller tire.Your running bigger tires on your sp 500 so I'm not sure of the weight differance
