Default Hub questions

Go to autozone and you can borrow a pair of boot clamp pliers. Just a $10 deposit. Those clamps are what you want to use, or you may be asking for it in the long run. The hub bolt gets torqued to 9-12 ftlbs. Not too much or you will ruin your bearings. You do not put ANY grease in the hub. The hub fluid does all the lubricating. Also, you can use ATF Type F fluid in the hub as well as Polaris hub fluid. If you clean the hub out really good, you can use use Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF. It does a really good job in there. Also, don't be surprised if your rear seal on the hub starts leaking. Both of mine did after I took my hub off. If they are the original seals, you may just want to replace them. They are only about $5 and fairly easy to replace. If you need more instruction just ask. Also, the brake caliper retaining bolts get torqued to 18 ftlbs
